WBRD 1420 QUESTION

Hey Guys and Gals:

I have a couple of questions about the history of WBRD 1420. I know it went on the air in Oct 1957.

1. When did WBRD go top 40 as Big Bird Radio?

2. When did WBRD go Country?

3. When did WBRD go AC?

4. Did WBRD simulcast its format on FM 103.3 at any time?

I guess not too many people listened to WBRD. Even though I lived in Bradenton, my only recollection is that they were AC in the mid-late '80s. I think my mom actually knew the morning DJ somehow, but I don't remember who. Then by 1990 or so they went talk. I don't recall any simulcast with 103.3. Wish I had some more info for ya.
