Anybody listened to WBRF in Galax, VA lately? They are playinjg pretty good music and finally sounding consistent from one shift to the other. They are still playing Blue Grass at night from 7-12. What is your take on NASCAR on the radio. I know that WBRF is the only FM in there regioin that is airing both PRN and MRN this season. Any thoughts

I like it too, now that my classic country station has gone adios. Some of the 90s country isn't my taste. I did have to change stations one day due to NASCAR and I ended up on NPR. Just background. There was occasional good music. I don't necessarily enjoy hearing about food but at least it's not some loudmouth conservative.

I just wish their signal was as good as the other station I used to listen to. Not that I didn't have problems with the other station, but there is a hip-hop/R&B station in Charlotte. I know now I was hearing "What's My Name" by Rihanna. I'll tell you what her name ISN'T: Loretta Lynn. Q98 in Fayetteville, which is hot AC but these days that's really adult CHR, is almost as bad. That station used to mess up the other one too.
