the programming source was provided by the previous owner in long island. personally, i would have put wtku back on it instead. why simulcast what's already available on a stronger signal 90 kc down? put something else on it that's not available on the band that might garner a few wmid listeners and get them to switch to the new fm product. even if it got a .2 rating, it would give them a selling edge and break their tie with wibg-fm. it gives no such financial advantage to wond, it just burns electricity. but, what do i know.
