What happened to ABC? Maybe they thought Fox News would work better with the conservative audience? At one time it seemed like they were trying to move away from hard core conservative to something more in the middle, perhaps that changed. It's more difficult for the grand old AM station (now almost 100 years old) to come up with ratings that can generate profits.
Is this the last gasp of AM radio, conservative talk, or both?
I was thinking when Entercom merged with CBS they would return to CBS News radio on WBT. But apparently not the case. And I guess that also explains why WJZY FOX-46 is now their local news partner, instead of WBTV right down the hall.

CBS radio news is distributed by Skyview and the content is provided by CBS corporate. CBS Radio is now part of Entercom, and the deal did not include the radio news network. Although CBS Radio News is the only "Big 3" brand to actually be produced by the corporation behind the name, it's still an independent operation not linked to the local radio stations.
