Just wondering if anyone else has noticed the distinctive "wheen" this station has in its audio??

Now, what the frack is a "wheen"?

Yep that is exactly it. Haven't heard it on of the other LM stations.Lamont Lester said:jb_ky said:Cool! Well i wouldn't called it a wheen... It's more like a glitch and the average Joe wouldn't even notice. Other than that it sounds great. Any clue if LM stations would ever get the RDS?
Might that "glitch" be described as a stutter? Like the audio pauses for a split second and then continues?
If yes, my question is whether B92 is running NexGen from one of the servers from the old Blue Chip stations that Lynn bought out years ago?

30K? Isn't it a 50k station?![]()

JB, thanks for the tip on the "wheen". After 45 years of headphones, I'm lucky to hear anything and don't hear it. We'll run the analyzer and try to find it.

The problem with stuttering hit hard when we went to classic country, so I replaced it. All Nexgen servers and control room machines have all been replaced over the last 4 years. One at a time since I'm an army of one. lol
We didn't see anything on the analyzer so thanks for the stuttering clarification. We had that problem a couple of months ago and I thought it was fixed by a cpu replacement. Hmmm. Let me know when you hear it again please.
