WBWD 540 AM

This station in Islip had been broadcasting programming aimed at people from India. I believe it has been affiliated with Radio Zindagi, in NJ.
Tonight they were airing Christian music in Spanish. They were calling themselves Radio Vida. Anyone know more about changes to this station?

I'm listening to the stream at https://radiozindagi.com/newyork/ and it's Indian Music and they just did a legal ID. 540 AM WBWD Islip, New York. 1310 AM WXMC Parsipany, New Jersey, and they ID'd the 96.7 Translator in Edison, NJ.

540 blasts into Connecticut during the day. I will have to check them out when I get into my car in the morning.

There appears to be very little information online concerning the current programming of WBWD.
WWRL 1600 AM in new York is scheduled to drop its Indian format when IHeart Radio begins an LMA of its Black Information Network.

WBWD owner Universal Stations filed with the F.C.C. they intend to sell the station to Metro Mex USA. The latter currently owns two ethnic stations in the Boston area. Sale price is $675,000, spread out over a few years. It will operate under an LMA, pending the closing.
As WBWD has a decent signal in a good part of the area, this seems to be a good deal for the buyer.

Spanish Christian Radio Vida appears to be gone, after only broadcasting for a few weeks.
Radio Zindagi, with its Indian programming, has apparently returned. WNYH 740 AM, where it had recently moved to make way for Vida, is now apparently broadcasting religious programming in Korean.
