WBXP-CA in hot water with the FCC.

Apparently this Class A station and others owned by L4Media have repeatedly failed to file FCC Form 398 (Children’s Television Programming Report) on a quarterly basis. L4 wants to have their stations reclassified.

The FCC basically states that L4 took all of their stations off the air for financial reasons, failed to maintain local office or studios, and failed to report Children programming.

L4 bought WBXP-CA and 13 other class A stations from The Box LLC (part of Viacom) in 2005 for $5m.

They have 3 sta's for off air and a couple letters saying they were on in between. I'm thinking either this was from periods when they were on. Or regardless of on or off they still are required to file form 398 quarterly as long as they have a valid license.

It's been a long time since I have seen them on. I actually have quit checking OTA lately. I need to hook up an antenna to one of my TV's again. I think I forgot to replace one last time I had a roadtrip or went for a cabin stay.

Yes say it now... I know... Guilty... I carry a big TV and an espresso machine when I go stay in a cabin.
