WBZ 9PM news on WSBK?

I just noticed yesterday on my DISH guide that on WSBK's schedule, the 9PM slot read "WBZ news". I tuned in tonight and wouldn't you know, there was what seemed like the WBZ studio (I'm not sure because I live in CT). They also had WBZ's graphics all except for a new TV38 logo on the bottom right (with WSBK next to it).

So did the TV38 News at 9 concept get canned?

It also seems as if TV38 updated their image altogether with new ads and music. I was impressed with that, but the 9PM news thing confused me. The orange set just disappeared. ???
