I've posted this before but I have it up on You Tube now so it is a bit easier to get to.
This is one of my favorite AM Stereo recordings and I usually play it while decorating the tree every year. I only wish I had recorded more than 45 minutes that night (I threw a tape in as I was leaving the house - even to a radio geek family trumps DX'ing
).
The audio quality is fantastic in most of it (be patient, the skywave is fading in at the beginning) except there is a 60Hz hum in the "jingle bell" effect which seems to be in the source at the studio (this sounds so good that I'm able to nit pick a 60Hz hum).
Along with the music note some of voices making an appearance and listen to the stereo effect in the elements that were part of the all news format at that time (TOTH ID, traffic sounder, commericals). Spoken word formats benefits from good audio and stereo as much as music.
