Incredibly sad to hear. "This is Eyewitness News - The Noon Report with John Henning, Gary LaPierre and Don Kent."
One of the best in Boston to do it and did both television and radio, a hard feat to do.

I remember growing up listening to Gary Lapierre in the morning on WBZ. He was the voice of News Radio 1030 for years. I admired him for his talent and his character. I remember hearing him perform as Ebenezer Scrooge in WBZ's performance of A Christmas Carol. He was a very talented man and I will miss him a lot.
