You got me curious......what did he say about Liz Walker?

katzradio said:BTW, did you check out that latest article in the Globe about Steve? About a 60/40 split (informally) on the comments posted about Steve, more wishing Jon would come back, that Steve is a bore, etc. That's pretty interesting stats for a "Hometown paper" writing an article on a "Hometown boy".![]()
You pretty much hit the nail on the head with your comments. Steve does not handle politics well, it brings out the worst in him. Unfortunately, that is basically his favorite topic, and him being an ultra-left wing liberal really really grates on me. I keep tuning back in for all of what y0ou mentioned, the light stuff.I found him particularly grating during the presidential primary season, primarily because I disagreed with him and hold a much different opinion of Hillary Clinton than he does. Sure, I turned him off some nights and was lucky to have other options (Thank you, Eli Polonsky and WBUR), but I usually found my way back to WBZ. Why? Because I enjoy his (mostly) light-hearted banter, "Friday Friday!", The Audio Clip Trivia Quiz, LeVeillepalooza, and even stories about Max. He has been a good companion in the late night hours and, in my opinion, the only really good one that 'BZ has had since Norm Nathan passed away.

then well north of 50% of the electorate were ultra-left-wing liberals last November, including such well-known lefties as Colin Powell--a registered Republican, I believe.

Are you mentally ill? Surely certifiable! Only an extreme right wingnut would call Steve an ultra-left-wing liberal! In my book he is a centrist--usually a tad RIGHT of center, but generally qualifying as being in the middle of the road. For heaven's sake, he is NOT EVEN A DEMOCRAT and he really chews up and spits out callers who try to describe him as one. Yes, he said he was going to vote for Obama, but if that makes one an ultra-left-wing liberal, then well north of 50% of the electorate were ultra-left-wing liberals last November, including such well-known lefties as Colin Powell--a registered Republican, I believe.
I would MUCH rather have Morgan, or even a "canned" program in place of Bradley Jay. He is definantly too extreme for the overnight slot. Not to mention that he is all over the place in his views; I don't think that even he knows what he stands for.whatever the case, I really wish they hadn't brought Bradley back... much rather hear Morgan
If you're in greater Boston you can't get KMOX. You must be listening on-line or KDKA.lisyen to KMOX/Jon Grayson

He has a family member at 'BZ that got him in the door; otherwise, a "no-talent" like that could never host Steve's show, or any other talk show. 'BZ is doing a disservice to its' listeners by having him as a fill-in. He might be better suited as a DJ.What he's doing on that station I'll never know!

Pragmatist? I don't think so. He's liberal on everything and lacks common sense.
