This is now more than a Red Sox factor.

Is it possible that CBS would be interested in syndicating WBZ-FM to other New England markets?

As someone who is in there mid 20s and has friends that are in that age bracket, hands down its the Sports Hub over EEI and for the casual sports fan, its the Hub. Idk but to me 98.5 has that edger, younger sound to it and it can be credited to that Bruins Cup run which seemed to really put the Hub into the driver seat and people never went back to EEI. I like Holley but Ordway is awful. A LOT of people were turned off by D & C because of the political rants. But EEI has go to do something soon...Red Sox or not, they are in trouble.

Really outside of D&C ( which is now failing ) what moves has he made that worked?
NOTHING he has tried at WRKO has worked yet it looks like WRKO will be the only game in town shortly. RKO should hire Jim and Margery in a heartbeat - or move D&C to 680 and try something new on EEI.
I have doubts if the Boston cluster is making money for Entercom now as that Red Sox contract is killing them.
WRKO is a joke. I agree with the idea of getting Jim and Margery (as I did enjoy listening to them) and switching D & C to RKO but I can't name one person who listens to WRKO on a regular basis. The signal is awful in Southeastern Mass and nobody wants to listen to right wingers for 13 straight hours. Even if the Red Sox are competing this year, that won't save EEI. Mike Adams is a superb guy in person, but I don't know anybody under the age of 40 who tunes him in. But good point on Wolfe, this all falls on him for not taking CBS radio's challenge seriously and now look whats happened....is it to late for Entercom?
