WBZ is now on WTIC-FM HD-3

Is WTIC-AM still on 96.5 HD2? Or was the "TIC Wayback Channel" moved up a notch? Lately on the WTIC-AM Internet stream, I have not heard the "WTIC-FM HD2" legal ID, which was heard only on the HD2 channel and online, and not over the air (otherwise, I'd hear that famous classical riff at the top of the hour - which for whatever reason, never seems to slip through over the Internet feed... I am willing to bet royalty issues are involved...)

Isn't most classical music -- composed and published more than 75 years ago -- public domain?

I wonder where the "Wayback Channel" is on HD Radio now. I always thought it was on one of 96.5's HD positions. I guess it's only online now.

It must hav been on befpore I got my HD radio at the end of last year, as I've only heard the AM relay on the HD-2.

What the heck was the Wayback Channel? I've had my HD Radio since early 2007 and have never heard anything on 96.5's HD positions but the AM programming (plus minor league sports, minus Red Sox) on the HD2, never anything on HD3. Are you maybe thinking of Forgotten Favorites? That classic-rock oldies stream is still on 105.9 HD2.

It said (or used to say) the 965 TIC Wayback channel was WTIC-HD2 on the online CBS radio stream player thing. It was in the text description of the channel. Not sure if it is or not anymore.
