WBZ New Studios

I saw years ago that WBZ was going to build a new studio building next door to their current one. Any one know the timing of when it will be complete? Their current set could use a refresh (I know they got a smaller refresh about a year ago).
 
Last I heard, the redevelopment plans had fallen through and WBZ will be staying put in its current building.
 
Nope. The move to a new building was going to be mostly paid for by the developers who were going to turn the current site into a mixed-use complex.

It's the slowing pace of development that put the project on hold for now.
 
@fybush Could we see Channel 4 wind up at TV38's former home in Brighton?

Harvard would buy 1170 SFR without hesitation - and I think CBS still owns 83 Leo M Birmingham Pkwy.

The old 38 building went with CBS Radio to Audacy and then to its divestiture spinoff. I believe it's already been sold to a developer and the Audacy stations are planning a move next year to an (as yet undisclosed) new site.

In any event, the 38 building was massively renovated for radio. The old TV studio space doesn't exist anymore. It's all conference rooms and offices.
