WBZ Phone Force

What's the point of having this WBZ Phone Force traffic tip line if the phone is barely answered, especially on the overnights. I have called in traffic delays and accidents several times over the past few months. The folks working during the day are usually nice and seem willing to air the information. The overnight people...different story. The rare times they answer the phone, they are rude, and do not air the information given. Lou Michaels is the main culprit of rudeness (when he answers the phone which is rare). The nicest one I have spoken to on the phone there is Rich Kirkland.

you need VHF capabilities. theres a freq where the "before the 3s" reports come in from kevin in the sky, camera-watchers in medford, DOT guys, other station's tips etc
