Apparently, WBZ Radio deemed the ad inaccurate. Nothing against Mass. Citizens for Life, but doesn't WBZ have the right to decline ads it considers inaccurate?

I'd love to know what was "inaccurate" about the spot. Sometimes people claim inaccuracy, when it's simply another opinion or perspective.

I could say the Globe is Left-leaning. You could say I was inaccurate. But it's really a matter of perspective.

I get the feeling WBZ simply doesn't want to have spots on the air that talk about abortion. Kind of a downer.

I wouldn't run the ads either - a hot button topic like that would stand a good chance at driving away listeners and garner allot of complaints. People complain about one car dealers ads that run on a local AC station, so abortion might be a bit too steamy.
 
I don't think you are permitted to refuse campaign ads, accurate or not.

Also WBZ had a large block of spots running in the overnight 2 years ago focusing on (rejecting) gay marriage. I don't remember who made the buy, but one could have inferred they were inaccurate just because they were amateurishly done.

More specifically, I believe you cannot refuse campain ads from specific candidates.

I dont know (or think) that this rule extends to anyone outside of the specific candiates.

Whats more interesting is WBZ turning down ANY business, in this claimate.

If you never say no, how much is your yes really worth? Kinda refreshing to see a station that doesn't just run anything inbetween traffic on the 3's.
