WBZ: Tina Gao and David Cedroni

I noticed both of them have been absent from the 'BZ weekend news. Tina, for a while anyways, was out on medical leave, but returned briefly, and is now gone once again. David just disappeared.

While I definitely enjoy having Shari Small or Susanne Sausville deliver the weekend mid-day news, I am curious about Tina.

I never quite got used to David's delivery of traffic reports; he talked too fast and often stumbled over what he was trying to say.

I’m happy to report Tina Gao was anchoring the Saturday afternoon news today!
Yes, thank you, and she was back in her usual Sunday spot today. She also covered mid-day on July 4th.

For those who wonder WHY I make it a point to enquire whenever anyone has gone missing for a "long" length of time from WBZ, it's because 'BZ is "an iHeart Radio Station". There are those among you who know what this implies. There are also those among you who might be offended by that.

I'm well on in years. I've been listening to radio since I was a pup in the 1950s. The voices I hear emanating from my radio's loudspeaker become part of my daily routine. And when I DON'T hear a particular voice, I get anxious. If you can not or will not understand that, then radio to you is nothing more than a business. But it is more than that to me and others like me (though we may be few in number).

In any case: if you're reading this, Tina, welcome back!

I heard Cedroni doing traffic this past Saturday afternoon; seems to have improved on his delivery.

OTOH, Tina's been absent for two whole weekends again. I don't do FB or X, so, if her status with 'BZ is changed, I can't see it.
