Yeah I wasn't sure if Grayson would be Sun-Thu (early Mon-early Fri) or Mon-Fri (early Tue-early Sat);
assumed it was former, and does it start at 11 CT/Mid ET or Mid CT/1 am ET.,,?
Wonder if Mel Simons will wind up on Rea's show or elsewhere (Jordan's?) w/ audio clip trivia
My understanding is that the Grayson show begins at 1AM Eastern/12AM Central, therefore the fifth hour won't be heard in Boston as the WBZ Morning News starts at 5AM. The question is what does 'BZ have planned for the 12AM-1AM hour. Another live hour of "Nightside" or a replay of an earlier "Nightside" segment? A rebroadcast of the 7-8PM news hour? The dreaded infomercial?
yes that's what I'd heard and what got me wondering that, if so, WBZ would have to find
something for mid-1...they could pick up a syndie show like Jim Bohannon or Alan Colmes
for that hour or, perish forbid, have something local (pay 'em minimum wage or have em
do it for free, yeah, that's the ticket!)
WBZ or really CBS's decision's to drop Leveille is disgusting. Steve's show was not only a good product but it was the only live voice out there at night in Boston when news broke over night. Steve's show was amazing when the accident happened in the Pike tunnels. BZ losing it's 24 hour live voice is disturbing for local live news coverage. They have also taken the live news updates away from the evenings and that is also a shame. CBS's radio division really has gone to hell.
