What ever happened to the WBZB calls? One minute they were going to 96.9 the next they aren't. I even checked the FCC website and it says that they are available again. What is going on with that?

Good question. It's a passing curiosity, but really nothing more. The calls were hidden anyway.

The WBZB call letters just didn't make the final cut when it came to Bob's radio station. He liked WRRK, so WBZB was let go

No HD radio yet, so I can't say I have. However, let's say, hypothetically, that a certain board regular--let's call him, uhhhh, Lonny Dorgan--had a birthday coming up and wanted an HD radio as a present.
What model would you suggest and about what price range are we talking? Also, are these things commercially available yet, or are they still pretty much internet-exclusive from Crutchfield, et al.

For a in-dash car stereo I'm using the JVC HDR1, it receives HD+Multicasting
I would Google the model number for a good price. I've seen it priced for $239.00, which I paid $299 (as for right now this is the only car unit to receive multicasting)

1) WLTJ HD1, HD2 (classic rock), HD3 (Urban AC)
2) WWSW HD1 only
3) WRKZ HD1, HD2 (sounds like the main channel with more classic rock added)
4) WQED HD1, HD2 (classicial)
5) WDUQ HD1, HD2 (NPR/Jazz), HD3 (blues)
6) WPGB HD1 only

Is any of this stuff rated? Or is this like, just a bonus sideband channel if you listen to station X..? Like, is WAMO in any danger from WLTJHD3? Would anyone listening to WLTJHD3 be counted, either for WLTJHD3 proper or for WLTJFM1? For that matter, I assume *ALL* WLTJHD1 listeners (and WxxxHD1) are rated WLTJ-FM listeners, and so on? Just curious.

At this time any listener with a diary tuned into WLTJ-HD2 or HD3 and they write down WLTJ-HD2 or 3, the primary WLTJ will get the credit, I'm sure as the years go by and the technology catches on Arbitron will fine tune their system
