WBZR New Wilkes-Barre Translator On-air

The new Buzzard translator on 95.3 is now on the air. Its very directional and seems to cover Wilkes-Barre and Kingston well. It is located atop Bunker Hill near West Wyoming but has its power focused towards Luzerne Boro. I'd love some reception reports.

Ok at King's College, altho I have to adjust ("fool around with") the antenna -- something I don't have to do with the regular stations.<P ID="signature">______________

At my home in W-B, I couldn't get the translator too good because of interference with Magic 93 and KRZ. I use a T-squared dipole antenna that I had for my old stereo in the living room which was bought in the late 80's.

I, however can get the Buzzard translator at the second floor of the former Town and Country furniture store using my Walkman with some fading.

That translator is not as strong as WRTI(94.9) or Rock 107's(107.3). I think that the antenna located on Bunker Hill near West Wyoming is targeted towards the Back Mountain area. I may get it better in a car radio than my home stereo.
