WBZ's Bob Lobel Out For Neck Operation

Jack Williams announced last night that Bob Lobel will be out for a while do to a neck operation he will have this week.

Is he having a bone fusion or a disk removed from his upper vertebrae ?

Know he has had some back problems and it looks like he may be on Prednazone (sp) or some similar steroid for pain because he has developed a swelled look in the past month or so. Lobel always looks fit but the steroids will puff you out.

Wish him well and a speedy recovery and return to the Channel 4 Sports Desk.
 
Do we really need to know exactly what Mr. Lobel is having done? I have heard that he's having a hysterectomy and the newest procedure is done through the neck. Come on, guys, leave him alone.
