WBZ's internet streaing is.... in stereo?

Don't know if this has been previously posted, but I just noticed that WBZ AM's internet stream is in stereo! This became clear to me just now after listening to a traffic report, with the traffic bed being in stereo.
Am I the last person to notice this?

I haven't listened to their internet stream, but I know that their studios were set up for full stereo capability because, from the early 1980's until just a few years ago, they used to broadcast in full wideband analog AM stereo. I remember the stereo traffic bed on the radio.

Their analog AM stereo went off when they got a new transmitter a few years ago. They did not convert the new transmitter to analog AM stereo in order to go HD Digital. You can't run both on an AM signal like on FM, there's not enough bandwidth. I don't have an HD Digital receiver, so I wonder if their HD Digital audio is also in stereo nowadays?

WBZ's IBOC HD signal is indeed in stereo. 1260 WMKI (and 1090 WILD's when it was on) is as well.

Interesting. And of those three, WMKI is the only one that had never previously broadcast in analog AM stereo. How about the "Rumba" Latin music on 1430 on HD (in the daytime)? Did they get that in stereo?

Unfortunately from here at home, with the antennas I presently have, I'm not able to receive WXKS in HD. Once in a while the callsign will show up on the display, but the audio never kicks in.
