WBZ's "Who's On First" Spoof

Was aired during the baseball show that Steve Leveille did the other night
(Mel Simons, etc.) Available on the Carl Stevens part of the 'BZ site. Amusing!

(look for:
Who's on First?
The Boston Red Sox have a lot of new faces as they start a new season. The entire infield has changed, and that prompted WBZ's Michael Coleman and Carl Stevens to write a little piece highlighting the changes. So, take a seat in the bleachers, and listen)

"no problem, I know all the players"
"Youk?"

"Youkilis. He used to play third, now he's on first. Unless it's Snow."

"Snow. What about rain?"

"If it's rain, the game's called."

"What about snow?"

"Snow's on first." etc

Does he do work on ads? He sounds familiar...like the ad for 128 Volvo
("so if I buy a car, will you be 127 Volvo...hello?"), Lincoln Park, etc...?<P ID="signature">______________

Coleman also does the WBZ Radio TV spots. Very funny. He should have his own sitcom.

I caught that bit the other night.. it was hilarious. A lot funnier than most of the bits I've heard on WEEI lately, although they still come up with good ones from time to time.

Michael Coleman is WBZ's production chief. He's the voice heard on many ads done in-house. I've also heard some clients use the spots he creates on other stations.

A very creative guy.
