I don't remember if the calls were still WCAA, but before La Kalle was Latino Mix 105.9, and before that, I believe, Caliente 105.9.
Before that, for years 105.9 had an ethnic format, with all sorts of different ethnicities represented on the air. I believe that ended around 1995 or 1996 but I may be off.
