As of late Saturday afternoon, 08/31, WCAP-AM 980 Lowell, MA is completely off the air. People have commented that the signal has not been up to normal lately, so this is worth mentioning unlike other instances off stations' being off the air because they have no backup. Would WCAP do work on a holiday weekend which would make such work more expensive?
