WCAU 10 turns 60 years old

On March 23rd 2008, WCAU-TV 10 will celebrate its 60th anniversary on the air. I would like to get your comments on the station, the local programs they aired and their newscasts during its 60 years of service to the delaware valley.

Over its long history, NBC 10 has had great personalities like Larry Kane, Gene Crane, Steve Levy, John Facenda, Jane Norman, Herb Clarke, Al Meltzer, Edie Huggins, Herb Denenberg, Bill Baldini, Terry Ruggles, John Blunt, Alan Frio, Deborah Knapp, John Bolaris and a list of others. On Wednesday, March 19th, the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia celebrated "60 Years of Channel 10." For more info on this event: http://www.broadcastpioneers.com/

My wish is that 10 produces a special that was like their 40th anniversary (not the NBC-shillfest that bastardized the 50th one). Granted, the 40th was still under CBS rule, but it did more to capture the essence of the station's heritage. When NBC did the 50th, it was more like Channel 10's history was only after the swap.
