Any former Bill Corsair fans still around? I found his show only because the local station on that frequency went off the air at sundown. I particularly enjoyed his Sat night trivia show, even called in a few times as a youngster. Last I heard he working in LA in TV/movies.
Later I discovered Steve Friedman's "Mr Movie Show" essentially the same way. What I found most impressive about him was how well he handled the wide spectrum of knowledge (or lack thereof) of his callers. He was as gracious to the academics as he was to a lady old lady calling to ask him to help her remember a movie. Never heard him lose his cool. I only found out a few years ago he died about 15 years back. Very sad, he was a class act.
