WCBE 90.5 Automated this week (All staff off on holiday break)

Found this interesting as it randomly showed up in my Facebook feed. 90.,5 WCBE entire staff is taking the entire week off (Mov 24th-Nov 28th) as part of a Columbus City Schools break.

They posted on Facebook about it (including the programming changes for the week due to it).

Seems like it did. I am still kind of surprised Columbus Public Board Of Ed holds onto this license - especially since Columbus Public Schools is reported to be in serious financial troubles.

It would be interesting to know, truthfully I don't listen to them often as it's not my cup of tea but they do have a niche format that does fit a need on the radio dial. It only remotely crossed my mind given the recent news about the schools struggling and usually when a district struggles their radio asset is the first to go.
