Has Scott Shannon had an impact?

Yes. His show is up in 25-54 by about 20%, and the spillage to middays has brought that shift up. The freshening of the music has improved 25-54 overall. Late last year, they were around 7th and now they are 3rd in the demo.

(I don't look at 12+ so can't analyze that).

you know, if he was the way he was the last two years on PLJ, I would have said no. But, he sounds fresher, the show has never sounded more fun.. It's back to being that same hit show I looked forward to every morning from 2000-2009. not the one full of grumpy people who where just waiting to start an argument from 2011-2013.

So I would like to think so.

The best thing about the change over is, that when the show was done on PLJ, I switched to CBS FM when it was still playing 50s music. now I get to keep CBS FM on all day ;o).

good for scott! Amazing at all that PLJ hasn't slipped any lower than 18 with everyone switching to CBS in droves.
