Look at the 1967 edition of WCBS880 they started out on 101.1 FM due to the fact that 880AM was knocked and Steve Porter was the first anchor in the WCBS Newscast at 5:30 AM in 1967. Later Charles Osgood would do the 6AM news on that day. But I know WCBS started out as an all news format that run on a 15-minute cycle.
