WCBS-AM sounder shark jumps

Not really jumping the shark (the moves did nothing to hurt the quality of 880), but WCBS has

1) dropped its cute-sounding allergy report sounder (actually did so sometime last year)

and

2) replaced its election-news sounder, I guess because it's an NYC election year and a new era apparently must be heralded (I preferred "di-di-di-DAAA, di-di-daa, DA-da", which was better than KYW's sounder)

They used to use some birds chirping. I don't exactly recall, but I think it might have been tied to whoever was sponsoring the allergy reports.
