WCBS-AM traffic to transit handoff tweak

In rush hours, Tom Kaminski on his :28 and :58 reports, used to say "now this mass transit update". Now he'll say "let's go to Bernie Vider [sp?] with this mass transit update".

When minutae like that are rephrased (not that I cared one way or the other in this case), who dictates the rephrasing? The talent involved? The PD? What or who?

You mean they didn't rephrase it to incorporate a plug for another sponsor? They didn't even play something like "Train Kept A Rollin" underneath it, to fall in line with some of the other reports that air on WCBS-AM?
