WCBS-fm 70s

I remember in the early mid 70s my cousin had a house in Seaside Heights me being from Philly used to stop over on Sunday. One reason was sitting on the boardwalk with my Grundig. I forgot the model. It was about 3 feet long, listening to the doo-wop shop I think it was Norman nite, and then Don K Reed at night on the boards listening to that show. It was unbelievable. That stuff just doesn’t exist anymore I know this was a stupid thread, but it just shows you how you could enjoy Radio way back then.

But today I can chat with friends anywhere (and from anywhere) ... no long distance costs, easy "conference calls" and the like... and not listen to a DJ talking at me from afar.
