They went ALL-Christmas the week of November 17 last year...now as for THIS year, WHY do you even have to STOP listening when and if the station goes ALL-Christmas for? Besides which, one of the BEST albums of Christmas or ANY time of year was "Phil Spector's Christmas Album", which, iirc, was recorded and released in November of 1963....PERSONALLY, i can hear ANY of the tracks (well, except for Phil Spector's "speech"...) ANY time of the year - NOT to mention the fact that Darlene Love, one of the most underrated vocalists of the ROCK era, gets MORE press around the holidays than at ANY other time...and speaking of Ms. Love, here's hoping that the hallowed halls of Cleveland (as in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame) FINALLY wakes up, smells the coffee, and inducts her in as part of the CLASS of 2010!!

I just don't need to be hearing Christmas music in November. Simple as that.

Gee, I cite on the boards all the time what Darlene Love has done. Everybody knows it; it's no secret.

"Christmas With The Miracles" from Smokey & the gang could give Diana, Mary & Flo a run for their money. Especially "Christmas Everyday." But I digress....I'm happy to hear that CBS-FM will keep the classic hits instead of the xmas dreck.
