CBS-FM: All male and proud of it
Not in the former oldies format, not in the recently restored oldies format. CBS-FM only wants washed-up boss jocks who are coming to 101.1 to retire.

Does she have any experience as a D.J.? I can only remember being on Shadow Traffic and being a news reporter for FOX Local and FOX Newschannel.

Oh, come on. Dan Taylor, Bob Shannon, and Bill Lee have so much energy, and that is what the station probably wants. AND, Dan and Bob both are veterans of the station. If they brought back Dan Ingram, I might believe what you wrote. Taylor, Shannon, and Lee can hardly be described as "washed-up boss jocks."
As far as your all-male complaint, it has only been TWO DAYS!! It's a possibility that JJ Kennedy may get a shift on CBS-FM, maybe even the 7P-MID. 101.1 is not even close to completing its airstaff, and your complaint seems unfounded at the moment. If the lineup becomes set in stone and there is no female, then you have a valid complaint.
I love how the station hasn't been back for even a full week, and people are complaining about things that aren't final yet. Sheesh. Hold off, will ya??

I agree, great post. The station is only 4 days old. We know that they will tweak it as they go along. It beats the heck out of JACK lets be happy for what we have. The jocks sound as though they are having fun. Lets enjoy it and I am sure it will get better. CBS would not have gone through all this trouble if they didn't want this to work right. :
