WCBS Like a Local

As I was getting into a shuttle van in Charlotte NC, 880 WCBS was in the radio and blasting into southwestern North Carolina (Charlotte).

Since I am not driving, I don’t have control of the radio 😂

Nice!

After seeing your post, I went to the Atlanta SDR and it was coming in like a local there too.

WABC and WFAN weren't nearly as strong.

Props to the shuttle driver for putting it on 880 to begin with!

WCBS sends a strong signal towards the southeast US. Here in central Georgia it is the strongest NYC 50kw station and is often quite strong at night.
