Hello. Who programs WCBS online? The mix of music is great. Too bad the dj's are not there. Thank's.

I believe Jeff Mazzei is programming the stream. However, like you say, it truly is quite worthless without the personality and that "New York" feel.
 
I don't know why they don't do what Majic in Chicago did and bring back live radio. I know that they would not be able to get most of the WCBS-FM jocks, but others can do the job though perhaps not as well. They should at least try.

I spoke with Mike Fitzgerald at a party of radioo people a couple of weeks ago and he told me why the WJMK stream has jocks and the CBS-FM stream doesn't. There was a package on the table that if jocks gave back some benefits and severance among other things they would be hired to jock on the HD2 and Internet. The folks at CBS kept their severance and were let go. The folks in Chicago did the givebacks and are still on the air at somewhere near 50% of their former salary.
