WCBS TV Ch 2 Wiped out on Comcast cable in Branford , CT System from WFSB Ch3

AS I posted in the New England TV forum, WCBS CH 2 signals on Comcast cable here in Branford CT system are wiped out , due to greedy Meridiths WFSB CH 3 in Hartford CT.Trying to watch channel 2 when all a sudden ch 3 cuts in with news updates and their other programing is highly very annoying. I hope the public will complant,Also why should I have cable tv when greedy locals knock off out of state tv stations, if that the case ,the cable co's should drop the out of state channels because the local channels are duplicated on the New York channels. So far WFSB is the only station here in ct is pulling this crap.
 
I have not noticed this happening on WCBS. I'm also a Comcast Branford customer. Though, I do watch WFSB more frequently that WCBS because Ch 3's signal is available in HD on Comcast, Ch 2's is not.

Yeah, Tonight As I'm watching CBS Evening News about the baseball story. CH 3's logo and all the weather related closings are on WCBS CH 2 on the Cable.as I'm monitoring the other locals ,their are not doing that. so far I.m not getting any reason this is happening,as I noted earlier, back in the 1990's this was happening due to the no dup syndication rule, and it stopped up until two months ago,CBS Evening News does not fall in this rule and their local news programing does not too. this is only on WCBS And WFSB.If I call Comcast , They will have no good info on this.Yes I can see Entertainment Tonight getting wiped out on WCBS but not the network evening news.

Meredith is not being greedy. Comcast is only complying with FCC regulations. Syndex and Network Non-Duplication, baby!

If you're a Patriots fan you shouldn't have a problem next Sunday. WFSB-3 will air the Dolphins-Patriots game while WCBS-2 must carry the Jets-Titans game.
