Gone are the bios...upcoming events...etc...

The home page is just now the letter that has blindsided the industry..jocks..and everyone else.

(I'm glad I downloaded screensavers...wallpaper..etc before it was pulled)

There's also link where you can listen live...to the CBS-FM "hybrid" with no personality.

Does anyone think the personalities that have been on CBS for years will come back to the internet-only stream..or even HD radio for that matter?

I seriously doubt it..

This is truly a sad time for the radio industry

IHMO, There's no doubt in my mind that someone will grab the jocks and the format and run with it. I can't believe that they didn't stick the jack format on WNEW and leave CBS FM alone. Granted, demo's aside, CBS-FM was a great station that had a lot of listeners. Oh yeah....persons over 50 still have a lot of money to spend........$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Should be interesting...

Thoughts on who might grab the ball and run with it????

Let's see WPLJ = WABC-FM??

It would also be good press for Clear Channel to flip a station. They get branded as the evil empire so they could use some good press!

I heard Bruce Morrow today on WNYC via the internet. He's really worked up about this.

Yeah, just like Rick Dees was snatched up when he was fired from KIIS FM...

What's that? He wasn't snathed up?
You see my point. Don't expect anything more from the WCBS switch either.
I have yet to hear of one jock who was let go from a Jack FM back on the air.
