WCCD off-the-air?

In the afternoon of Thursday, 10/7/2021, while channel surfing in my car, I noticed that WCCD was not on the air. Friday morning 10/8/21 I dialed in after 8:00am, and heard the reason WCCD is a day-timer... The 50,000 watt WMVP AM1000 in Chicago (Sports).... (Formerly the famous WCFL Top 40 station). Anybody know what happened and how long they have been off-the-air? Their website is still up and programming can be heard there. There is no information about what happened to the radio signal.

It's 10/12/2021 and WCCD AM 1000 is still off-the-air. If they stay off for good, I wonder if this is another WJTB 1040am who also aired Gospel music and preaching, and in its last few years had terrible sound quality.

You do have a point that WCCD Parma shuts off at night to protect WMVP Chicago, however depending on the time of the afternoon, it shouldn't be off. Check out:
Also, it might be off due to transmitter repair. It's happening to KGAB again today

Today, Monday 10/18/2021, WCCD AM1000 is back on the air. I heard them while driving on Broadway Avenue in Cleveland, near E.65th and Fleet avenue on the east side at around noon. A preacher program was ending and there was a mention of Maple Heights in relation to religious services. The sound quality was poor. It had a constant crackling sound that was fairly loud. I wonder if the noise was 'weak-signal' noise or something that their system is adding and broadcasting. Based on the WCCD coverage map on the radio-locator site, they should be putting a perfectly fine, city-grade signal throughout the City of Cleveland.

For what it's worth, the quality of WCCD's signal was better on 10/19/2021. The crackling sound was only very slightly there. The main bad sound that you can hear comes from poor quality recording of live preacher events, which also was a problem at the late WJTB.
