WCCO DT4

some new channel called FaveTv

sounds like the CBS O&O's are adding it as but cant find any info on said channel

I just checked WCBS-TV. It seems Fave-TV has debuted on Channel 2.4. The program guide function does not show upcoming shows yet. But I was just watching Bar Rescue with Jon Taffer, which is now in Season 6 on Paramount TV. I guess this channel is running an older show.

How funny that the CBS O&O stations resisted adding digital subchannels after NBC, ABC, Fox, PBS and others already had added several subchannels on their signals. Now CBS O&Os mostly have three digital subchannels.

x.2 ... Start TV (dramas with significant female cast members)
x.3 ... Dabl (how-to shows from Martha Stewart, Emeril Lagasse, etc.)
x.4 ... Fave TV

For years, CBS engineers thought subchannels took some of the quality out of the main digital channel. But most people would never know the difference. The first CBS subchannel was Decades. Now that has shifted to other stations. In NYC, Decades moved to the Fox O&O.

Seek and ye shall find... At least what little information is available about this channel right now- here's the Wikipedia entry for Fave TV. It's live on the Philly O&O as well. So far it's reruns of a few Viacom cable network shows, acquired syndicated reruns you'd also see on the Viacom channels, and a movie or two every day.
