WCFB back on Paisley tower

WCFB appears to have switched over to their new Paisley/Lake Mack tower because they are broadcasting an HD radio signal once again because their temporary transmitter site at 101.9/105.9/107.7/WVEN-DT/MediaFlo Orange City tower did not have HD Radio equipment.

Now their signal appears it has switched back to Orange City because there is now is no HD carrier. It appears to be they are testing and fine tuning equipment out at Paisley before going back there for good.

Kudos to Cox for rebuilding the Paisley facility and thus maintaining their full Class C status. (Orange City was a C0 because of required separation to 94.7/Gifford.)

Did they rebuild to the same height? Radio-locator.com has the new facility listed as 451m/1480 feet.

The 1,480 feet may possibly be the Orange City site, and Radio Locator hasn't updated its information, yet. I didn't realize that Gifford was so close to Orange City. Isn't 94.7 Gifford a C3?

Radio-locator shows both the Orange City (current) and Paisley (CP) sites. Paisley is listed as 451m, one more meter than is required to maintain full C status under the new rules.

Orange City shows as a C0. They have the height, but had to drop power to maintain C0 limits. I'm guessing Gifford was the reason they couldn't run as a full C from Orange City (?)
