WCIU-DT adds WFBT-CA Ch48

This is old news on a couple other boards, but if you have a DTV tuner and haven't run a re-scan recently, WCIU-DT (27) is carrying three subchannels now:

WCIU-SD 26-1
WWME-SD 26-2
WFBT-SD 26-3

Comcast is adding MeTV and WFBT on many suburban systems on 09/01, too. Digital package required.

Actually COMCAST is pulling its shady tricks again. I spoke to them about WWME-CA. Digital packages ARE NOT required. HOWEVER, here it the sneaky part, a digital converter IS.

So if you can rent the digital converter or have one (and somehow DON'T pay for any digital package) you still should be able to get WWME-CA on 223. At least that is what Comcast told me. But I dropped cable back in January<P ID="signature">______________

Yeah, I found that on my Comcast system, there are a few channels "in the clear" that I didn't expect. ESPN HD, Discovery HD Theatre, all of the local cable-access channels (which are also in analog, of course), INHD, INHD2, and some others like WOCK-CA/Azteca America, DiY, etc.
