WCJW's Jenny Snow Dies

It is with shock and disbelief that I read that WCJW's Jenny Snow has died.

Jen and I started our careers in broadcasting working for the late Walter Taylor at his Hammondsport radio station.

Jen hailed from Coopers Plains, which is a town just outside of Corning. All of her life she loved radio and despite offers to move to Rochester, she preferred to remain in smaller markets, going from Corning to Warsaw.

My condolences goes out to Jenny's family, friends, and especially her co-workers at WCJW.

I too am shocked about this. Jenny and I worked at WCLI/WZKZ in Corning in the mid 80's. She was one of the jocks that helped me in my early years in radio. She was a character and I do remember her fondly.
