1540 is a Bahamian clear, per international agreement. KXEL protects Nassau first.

I can recall in the mid-1960's in Cincinnati, that I could successfully null WCKY and pull in a mix of KXEL and Top 40 formatted, WPTR-1540, Albany, NY which is nulled to protect both KXEL and the Bahamian station on 1540....
