WCMC 99.9 The Fan

Did 99.9 The Fan finish their move already?
I'm in Cumberland County.
99.9 The Fan's been coming in clear here for a couple weeks. They used to fight Jammin' 99.9 from Wilmington. They were almost always in the background of Jammin' 99.9, and rarely were clearer.
The last couple weeks or so though, it's been the only station you can hear on 99.9 here.

According to FCC records, it appears WCMC has completed their new facility on the Auburn tower and they're in the process of testing it. They're IDing as Holly Springs now, and the other Raleigh area stations that moved their cities of license to accomodate 99.9's reallocation to Holly Springs have long since began identifying by their new COLs (100.7 WRVA-FM, Wake Forest and 1030 WDRU, Creedmoor).

Capitol Broadcasting makes it official...

Their new antenna is 1/3rd the way up on the old analog WRAL-TV/WRDC-TV/WRAZ-TV tower in Auburn, which is home to two other Triangle FM's, much higher up (WRAL-FM and WQDR-FM...WRDU broadcasts from the adjacent Digital Candleabra Tower, which supports the antennae five of Raleigh's 10 full-power TV stations, post 6/12/09: WRAL, WRAZ, WNCN, WLFL and WRDC).
