WCMC WILWOOD NJ

I would like to hear from those who started their careers at WCMC as I did way back in 1972.I know Bob Bruno,VP of WOR, started there. Who else? And where are you now?

WCMC..what memories!! I worked there in the mid 70s summer relief. Nothing like playing those Zaberer (sp?) restaurant commercials 4 times an hour. The blue decor of the building fit the shore very nicely. Mutual News every hour..Phillies Baseball on the FM station. I recall one Sunday afternoon running a Sixers game on the AM and Phils game on the FM. Running back and forth between the two studios for 45 minutes before the guy who was supposed to run the Sixers showed up.

The nightly broadcasts from the Aqua Circus in the boardwalk. I got to do it once a week. I would interview the divers and we would talk about everything..

It was my first job in radio. I learned so much there. Since then, I've had the good fortune to work in New England, Indianapolis, and am currently working in Eastern PA.
