:-X WCOJ doesn't subscribe to Arbitron Ratings, never had them and never will.
While I was there I hear all the time from WCOJ's resident Fossil Ron McNeil that 'COJ has 30,000 listeners.
I always doubted that number because it had no basis in reality, the same 5 people always call into The Crap Shop and Robert Henson's show, and I really want to know how WCOJ devines the number of listeners. Lloyd used to somehow get a number from the amount of Chester county's current population, but I am still left wondering how the lie was created. Where do those numbers come from ?
What I do know is while Kevin Jaibber was there, he pulled some strings over at Interep and got his buddies to fax him some philly arbs so he could get a gauge from that. I know it was illegal and I saw it with my own eyes. Well he'll always be a nobody, and now it seems he's not the GM/GSM, he has gotten himself on Ira Rosenblatt's s-list and has since been FIRED. I wonder if the next Stooge Ira brings in will pull strings and use friends and favors illegally like Kevin did.
