Was listening to the morning show yesterday as they went to traffic. Good, concise report, except the outro noted it was traffic on 89.7 NPR News. Don’t know if they grabbed the wrong file or it was the traffic guy.
They do. 89.7 reports typically have a “credit” embedded in the closing. I can’t remember if this one did. Just caught my attention when they gave the closing tag.
Probably someone uploaded the wrong traffic report file to WCOL - I would assume iHeart probably has some 'automated process' in place that drops the file into the automation at the right place in the log once it's uploaded by the traffic reporting source so unless anyone checked the file before it loaded into Nexgen you would have that whoops happen.
