Why would anyone be surprised at their nonsense. 99.9 is voice tracked the entire day except mornings! If they could get away with it, they would have no one!
 
From all my posts here, I know it sounds like I've worked with everyone in the world, but I may have. I actually worked with Kix Laton (Glen's VT replacement) in Fayetteville, NC at Q98 when I was stationed at Ft. Bragg. I've known him from his Charlotte WROQ days. He used his real name, Kent Laton, back then. While I totally think Glen got the short stick, I can't blame anyone but Clear Channel for their wholesale disregard for talent and experience. However, Kent/Kix is a standup guy that is just as nice, friendly and approachable as Glen is. Insofar as voicetracked talent can, Kent/Kix will take special care to relate to the Columbia market. Trust me, he knows that he has huge shoes to fill.

On another note, anyone talk with Glen lately? His plans?
 
Right now he's just chillin' and taking some much deserved time off. I'm going to try to have lunch with him sometime this week and hang out. Glen is a pro, he'll be back on the breeze when the time is right. Maybe i'll talk him into coming to the party! yo Scott holla back at me..you got my digits...Go Cocks!!!!

Howdy gang sorry not much posting from me this week... Had a good vacation and me and the wife went to Mall Of America... Now it is time for the real vacation to start in about six weeks ;D... Gary if you do talk to Glenn invite him to the get together... As for the VT'ing issue at COS watch that number keep going lower and lower... Maybe then and only then the brain trust at Clear Channel may realize what kind of disaster they have caused to not one, not two, but three great radio stations in Columbia... If CC does sell their properties in Columbia I would tell them don't let the door hit ya on the way out of town... JMO!!! CC1
